Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has admitted that that club are interested in securing the services of Bacary Sagna on a free transfer in the summer.
The 31-year-old's current deal at the club looks set to expire at the end of the season, with the Gunners unwilling to offer the Frenchman with a three-year contract extension.
Â
La Gazetta dello Sport claims that Thohir has now confirmed that he will be waiting for Sagna to decide on whether he will make the switch to the Nerazzurri.
Â
"I'm not used to making announcements if there is not a signed contract," He said."I can only say that we like Sagna and that at this point it all depends on him. If he does not arrive, we will take a younger right-back."
Â
Sagna joined the Gunners from French club Auxerre in the summer of 2007.
