Luis Perea to Chelsea?

Colombian defender Luis Perea is being linked with a January transfer move to Chelsea. The Atletico Madrid defender is regarded as one of the quickest defenders in the business and is capable of playing at both right back and centre back.

Perea received his Spanish passport in the Summer, and will not take up a non-EU player slot for Chelsea; who are prepared to pay up to £4m for the Colombian defender.



Perea spent four seasons at Medellin, before a season at Boca Juniors before joining Atletico Madrid in 2004.



The 28-year-old has also been chased by Roma since the summer.
