Arsenal have reportedly registered interest in Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez.
According to The Daily Star, the Gunners made an enquiry for the talented England international just before a knee injury put the former Burnley star out of action for the remainder of the season.
In addition to this, the North London club are now understood to be keen on bringing the 24-year-old to the Emirates this summer, and will keep a close eye on his recovery from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
Rodriguez, who has notched up an impressive tally of 17 goals for the Saints this season, is expected to be sidelined for atleast six months with the injury.
