Newcastle United's on-loan striker Luuk de Jong has insisted that he wants to make a permanent move to the Tyneside outfit at the end of the season.
The Dutchman who joined the Magpies from Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach on-loan during the winter transfer window, failed to make any immediate impression and has failed to find the net in seven appearances so far.
Â
However, he is keen on improving on his game, and could adapt to the English style of play during the next campaign.
Â
"I just want to improve my game every game," He said. "That's why I love being here. I hope to be important for the team, and after this season, I hope to stay.
Â
"I like [English football]. It's more physical than Germany and Holland. It's how I like to play. There are a lot of aerial duels."
