Manchester City's huge summer spending spree has continued after they today completed the signing of Spanish defender Javi Garrido. The Basque player had been playing for Real Sociedad and had been linked with Athletic Bilbao, but Man City have won the defender's signature.
The 22 year old player has spent all of his career at Real Sociedad, but the lure of more money in the Premiership could have sealed the move. The player is keen to become a full Spanish international after playing for the U-21 side.
