Monaco have decided to part company with manager Claudio Ranieri and ended the Italian's two year spell at the Principality side. Monaco are hoping to bring in a new manager and start a brand new era.

  • Chido Obi to leave Man Utd on loan
  • Chelsea make opening bid to sign Granit Xhaka

  • Sporting Lisbon manager Leonardo Jardim has been widely tipped as a potential replacement for Ranieri.

β€œI confirm that Claudio Ranieri is leaving soon. We decided to break up. I would like to pay tribute to Claudio Ranieri, who did a good job,” the French club's vice president Vadim Vasilyev said. β€œIt is never easy to take a club from Ligue 2 to the Champions League. But we believe that at this stage we need a new dynamic.”
