Bacary Sagna dismisses Man City speculation

26 May 2014 - 15:45

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has apparently played down claims that he had signed a contract with Manchester City.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Recent reports revealed that the 31-year-old, who is nearing the end of his current deal with the Gunners, had agreed to join Manchester City on a three-year bumper contract of £150,000 a week

However, the talented right-back has now denied the speculation insisting that he will decide upon his next move before leaving for the World Cup finals in Brazil next month.

"Have I already signed a contract with Manchester City? No, that is not true," The France international said. "My situation will be sorted out before the World Cup, but I haven't signed for anyone so far. We all have our own destiny and I will try to find mine."

Sagna joined the Gunners from French club Auxerre in the summer of 2007.
