Mexico thump Israel in World Cup warm up

Mexico coasted by a woeful Israel international team in a 3-0 win last night. The South Americans are currently half way through their World Cup preparations.

  • Miguel Layun scored twice for the Mexicans and proved to be in inspired form for most of the game. Mexico will now play a friendly against Ecuador and then take on fellow World Cup qualifiers Bosnia-Herzegovina next week.

    Mexico opens its World Cup campaign with a match against Cameroon on June 13.
