New York City FC have reportedly agreed a three year contract with Spain striker David Villa. The forward will make a move from Atletico Madrid.

Reports suggest that the MLS side will make a major swoop by completing a deal for the Atleti forward in preparation for next season.

Villa completed a move to Atletico Madrid last season, helping the club to La Liga success and a Champions League final appearance.
