Sevilla have decided not to exercise their right to make a permanent move for German midfielder Marko Marin and the player will now return to Chelsea for the new campaign.
The promising 25-year-old initially struggled to adapt to life in England and was farmed out on loan to Sevilla, where he enjoyed some regular first team football.
Despite that, the player will return to Stamford Bridge and is likely to be sold prior to the beginning of the season.
Former club Werder Bremen are believed to be interested.
