Pachuca striker Enner Valencia has touched down in London to put the finishing touches on a transfer move to West Ham United. The Ecuador international will join the Hammers for a reported fee of £15 million.

  • Chelsea want to sign Alejandro Garnacho for £30m?
  • Chelsea agree deal to sign wonderkid for €40m

  • The highly rated 25-year-old took part in all of Ecuador's three group games at the World Cup, bagging three goals in the tournament. He scored the only goal for Ecuador in a losing effort against Switzerland and then bagged both goals against Honduras in a 2-1 victory. Mexican club Pachuca will reluctantly sell their star asset but are set to make a decent profit on the strong forward.

Since arriving at Pachuca this year from Emelec, the Ecuadorian has scored a decent 18 goals in 23 games and has caught the eye on international level as well, as he helped his country through the World Cup qualification games. The player will sign a four year contract at Upton Park and will compete with Andy Carroll for a spot in the first team.
