Mathieu Valbuena agrees to join Russian outfit

French midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has rejected a move to the Premier League and has instead decided to join Russian side Dynamo Moscow. The highly rated playmaker had been tipped to make a move to West Ham.

The Hammers had made Valbuena one of the top targets for the summer after sending scouts to Brazil to monitor the player in action. The 29-year-old had impressed at the World Cup for France, but it appears the player is looking for a move to Russia instead of England as he today completed a move to the Russian capital side. The transfer fee is 7. 5 million euros and Valbuena has signed a four year contract.
