Sanchez: Davies' great season

08 December 2007 - 10:48

Lawrie Sanchez belives that Simon Davies will be even more keen to target his old club Everton in today's encounter at Goodison Park. The Welsh midfielder has had a good season and has been one of the better players in Fulham's side.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • “Simon will be looking forward to going back to his old club,” Sanchez exclaimed.

“Someone said to me the other day he’s now living up to the potential he showed when Tottenham bought him from Peterborough.

“He didn’t have the best time at Spurs and he wasn’t at Everton for that long.

“But now he’s in a settled position in a settled team and he’s showing the qualities those clubs thought he had.

“He’s having a great season and has got the Welsh captaincy on the back of it."
