Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan will sign a brand new deal at Anfield this week, with a deal to be signed in a contract for a further four years.
Flanagan has been missing through injury of late and is now set to be rewarded for his loyalty to the club.
"It would be reward for all the hard work I've put in. It would be great for me and great for my family as well," said Flanagan, when asked about a potential new deal.
"All I've ever wanted is to play for Liverpool and I want to stay here for as long as I possibly can."
