Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool are pondering moves for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Julian Brandt, according to The Mirror.

The German youngster broke into the Leverkusen side halfway through last season, and he is considered among the best young talents in the Bundesliga.

A report from The Mirror claims that scouts from both clubs have had a look at the midfielder, and a January move from either side could be on the cards.

Brandt scored 3 goals in 14 games for Leverkusen last season.
