Kadlec, the son of Czech footballing legend Miroslav, already has two full caps to his name and is one of the most highly-rated young defenders in his country.



McLeish is understood to have travelled to Prague on Monday to make a personal check on Kadlec.



The Sparta Prague defender is expected to command a fee of around £2 million.
