Liverpool are considering a move for Fiorentina goalkeeper Norberto Neto in the winter transfer window, according to La Repubblica.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form for La Viola this season, and this has attracted interest from a host of clubs in Europe.
Italian newspaper La Repubblica claims that the Serie A outfit could be forced to offload the Brazilian in the New Year, with his existing contract set to expire at the end of the season.
The report adds that Liverpool are ready to propose the goalkeeper a hefty pay rise of around £1.5m per season.
Liverpool are currently ninth in the Premier League.
