Recent reports revealed that the Brazil Under-20 international was keen on sealing his dream move to Los Blancos in the upcoming transfer window.

Cruzeiro have now confirmed that the European champions have made a bid of around £10m, which is short of their £12m valuation for the talented midfielder.

The 21-year-old has made 58 appearances for Cruzeiro since his debut in 2012.
