Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Arsenal forward Benik Afobe on a permanent deal, according to a report.

  • The talented youngster has been in good form for Milton Keynes Dons this season, having notched up an impressive tally of 19 goals in 30 games so far.

    According to ESPN, Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has identified Afobe as the perfect player to boost the club's attack.

    The report adds that the club are leading the chase for the England Under-21 international, and a move is likely to be finalized between the parties involved in the next few days.
