Manchester United will revive their interest in French defender Raphael Varane at the end of the season.
The Frenchman has failed to cement his place in the first-team at the Bernabeu, and many expected the talented centre-back to exit the European champions in the winter transfer window.
United did not sign a top-class player in the New Year, but The Independent claims that the Mancunian giants will consider a bid of around £35m bid for Varane at the end of the season.
Chelsea are likely to offer stiff competition for the player's services.
