Belgian international has casted doubts over his future at Everton by insisting that he wants to play for a top club.
The talented striker joined the Toffees from Chelsea on a club-record fee of £28m over the summer, and has since then failed to make the most of his opportunities in the first-team.
Lukaku has been struggling to regain the form that he displayed at the Merseyside outfit on loan last season.
The former Chelsea star has now insisted that he plans to play for a top club in Europe in years to come.
"It was brilliant to play at Chelsea and I had a good reception. They know I'm a good player but that I want to develop so I can eventually get back to playing for a club like Chelsea." he told The Sun.
"I don't have a secret ambition to rejoin - there are other clubs in the world. I just want to grow as a player and eventually arrive at a top club again."
Lukaku has scored ten goals for the Toffees this season.
