Diego Simeone to sign new Atletico deal

Atletico Madrid have opened talks with manager Diego Simeone regarding a new contract. The Argentine helped his club to domestic league success last season.

Simeone is apparently open to an agreement on an extension of his current deal for a further two more years. Simeone is believed to have been contacted by numerous top sides but has so far stayed loyal to his team. The coach will announce the new deal in March.
