Morgan Amalfitano signs new West Ham deal

French midfielder Morgan Amalfitano has signed a new two-year deal with West Ham United, according to a report.

The 29-year-old joined the Hammers on a one-year deal from Marseille last summer on transfer deadline day, and has since then been a regular in the first-team setup.

According to the club\'s official website, Amalfitano has been rewarded for his good form with a two-year contract extension.

\"I am pleased. It\'s the culmination of a good year. We\'re always trying to do our best and so I\'m very pleased to have signed for two more years.\" He said.

Amalfitano has made 22 appearances for the East London outfit this season.
