Feyenoord make Guidetti approach

Feyenoord have reportedly made a formal enquiry to sign Manchester City forward John Guidetti at the end of the season.

  • The 22-year-old is currently plying his trade at Celtic, where he has notched up 14 goals in 32 appearances.

    According to Sky Sports, the Eredivisie outfit have lodged a formal approach for the Swede, whose contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

    Celtic boss Ronny Deila has also revealed his desire to sign up the talented striker on a permanent basis in the summer.

    Guidetti scored 20 goals on a loan spell at Feyenoord in the 2011-12 season.
