Preview: Newcastle vs Derby

23 December 2007 - 09:35

Derby travel to Tyneside looking for a Premiership double - Newcastle being the only side they have beaten this year. Derby, at the bottom of the league, take on Newcastle who have won 2 in a row.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder
  • Suspensions and Injuries

Steven Taylor returns to the Newcastle United squad, but Derby's Matt Oakley is a doubt. A groin injury looks set to rule midfielder David Jones out of the clash, and long-term absentee Andy Todd (back) will again be missing.
