West Ham United will reportedly reject the opportunity to sign Barcelona midfielder Alex Song on a permanent basis.

  • The former Cameroon international joined the Hammers on a season-long loan deal last summer.

    Having started the season in fine fashion for the East London outfit, many expected him to secure a permanent contract.

    However, the former Gunner has had a slump in form since the turn of the year, and this has brought up doubts regarding his future at Upton Park.

    According to The Mirror, the Hammers will rebuff the chance to sign the 27-year-old at the end of the current campaign.
