Everton are ready to make a bid for former Pompey star Sulley Muntari, according to an Italian source.

Muntari has struggled for game-time at AC Milan this season, and is expected to be offloaded by manager Filippo Inzaghi at the end of the season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Toffees have contacted Muntari's agent regarding a possible return for the player to the English top tier.

Muntari has scored two goals in 16 games for Milan this season.
