Shola Ameobi to join Norwich City?

Norwich City will offer a pay as you play contract to former Newcastle and Crystal Palace striker Shola Ameobi. The striker is currently out of contract.

Spanish star has arrived in London to complete Arsenal transfer

Ameobi was somewhat of a cult hero at St James' Park before completing a move to Crystal Palace, but the striker has since failed to live up to expectations. The striker is hoping to have another season in the Premier League and The Canaries have sent representatives to meet with Ameobi's agent. Ameobi has also attracted the attentions of several Championship sides, with Brentford and Derby County also said to have been in contact with the striker since his release from Selhurst Park.
