Villarreal's pursuit of Spanish striker Raul Tamudo of Espanyol looks to be over after the player announced he intends to see out the rest of his contract at the club, which will see him at Espanyol until at least 2010.
Raul Tamudo is very much a one-club man and will be eager to stay at Espanyol for as long as possible despite the interest of several clubs in his services.
