Sevilla president Jose Castro has admitted that the club are close to agreeing a summer deal for Chelsea flop Gael Kakuta.
Kakuta joined the Blues from Lens in 2007, and has since then failed to force himself into the first-team.
The 23-year-old has a good loan spell at Rayo Vallecano last season, and this has caught the eyes of the Europa League champions.
Castro has now revealed that they are inches away from sealing Kakuta's signature.
"It is very close and we can put in the hours," He said.
"This just started and we have to make that time to continue growing our squad."
