Chelsea could have a say on West Ham United's pursuit for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song, according to a report.
The Hammers have been deemed favourites to sign the former Cameroon international, who was impressive for them on loan in the previous campaign.
It is understood that the Hammers were keen on sealing a free transfer for the former Arsenal man by taking on his weekly wages of £70,000, but the Blues are now willing to pay a fee upfront to seal his services, The Telegraph reports.
Barca currently rate the African star at £5m.
