Javier Manquillo's two year loan spell at Liverpool has been cut short after just 12 months. The full back has returned to Atletico Madrid.
Manquillo, who started the Liverpool campaign as a first team regular, has decided to return home. 20A statement on Atletico's website read: "Javier Manquillo will not fulfil his second season on loan with Liverpool. The player and Atletico Madrid decided that the player would go to Anfield for two seasons to enjoy the necessary minutes to continue growing football-wise.
