Italian defender Matteo Darmian is expected to undergo a medical test with Manchester United on Friday.

The talented right-back is expected to seal his proposed move to Old Trafford this week, with Serie A side Torino having reached an agreement to sell their star asset to United.

According to Sky Italia, the 25-year-old has said farewell to his teammates, and will make way to Manchester to undergo a series of medical tests on Friday.

A fee of around £14m is said to have been agreed to sign up Darmian, who is said to have the potential to play across the defence.
