Andrea Russotto to PSG?

Andrea Russotto to PSG?

01 January 2008 - 23:36

Andrea Russotto, the 19 year old winger who currently plays on loan at Treviso, is set to join Paris SG in the wintertransfer window. Owned by Bellinzona, Juventus and Milan have both been monitoring the young talent.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The 19 year old striker is regarded as one of the best young talents in Italy and has long been linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus, however, it appears PSG have stolen a march on their Italian rivals and are set to pay £1.35 million for his signature.

In the Euro U17s tournament of 2005 Russotto was one of the stars of the tournament scoring the winning goals against Turkey and England and ended top scorer for Italy.

Russotto saw his stock rise with World Soccer Magazine naming him in their list of top 50 of the worlds best players under the age of 21 calling him "the nearest thing to Roberto Baggio Italy have".
