Senegalese international Papiss Cisse has insisted that he has no desire to leave Newcastle United during the summer transfer window.

The talented frontman has been linked with a switch away from Tyneside, with Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Fenerbahce keen on his services.

However, Cisse, who scored his club's first goal in the 2-2 draw against Southampton, revealed that he will remain at the Magpies for the remainder of his contract.

"I have a contract at Newcastle United," he told The Chronicle. "I need to be professional every time I play. I don't have a team to leave to."
