French giants Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on the signing of Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao on a season-long loan.
The Portugal international has played as back-up to Marcelo for the left-back role in recent seasons.
The likes of Inter Milan and former club Benfica have been associated with the 27-year-old, but Le Parisien cites that the French champions have won the chase for the player's signature.
It is added that Coentrao will join the Ligue 1 giants on an initial loan deal, with an obligation for a permanent switch at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
Coentrao joined Real Madrid from Benfica in 2011.
