Chelsea have reportedly acquired the services of defender Michael Hector from Reading for a fee of around £4m.
The Jamaican international has been a consistent performer for the Royals, and this had attracted interest from the Blues.
It is now official that the Premier League holders have snapped up the player's services.
However, Hector will ply his trade on loan with Reading for the ongoing season.
The 23-year-old was part of the Jamaican side that took part in the CONCACAF and Copa America this summer.
