Queens Park Rangers has revealed that a summer move to Premier League giants Manchester United was never on the cards.
The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with a transfer to the Red Devils during the back end of the summer transfer window.
However, Austin has iterated that there was never any option of joining the Mancunian giants in the summer.
"No. That was never on the cards. Not from what I'm aware of," he told talkSPORT
Austin has scored four goals in five games for the R's this season.
