Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng is reportedly keen on a move back to Italy.
The talented midfielder failed to earn a switch away from Schalke over the summer in spite of being deemed surplus to requirements for the first-team.
According to German sports daily Bild, the 28-year-old could be shipped to either UAE or Qatar as their transfer window closes on September 30.
It is added that the player may seek a return to Italy should he fail to earn a move to the Middle East.
Boateng has made 54 appearances for the Bundesliga side till date.
