Werder Bremen midfielder Tim Borowski could be set for a move to Atletico Madrid should Maniche complete - as expected -a move to the Premiership. Bayern Munich and Hamburg are also monitoring the German midfielder.
According to Spanish paper âASâ, Madrid will look to sign Borowski for the start of next season to make up for the loss of Maniche, who is widely tipped to be leaving the capital club.
However, Werder are reluctant to sell the midfielder unless they receive a high enough offer which is believed to be in excess of £8 million for the highly rated midfield international.
