West Ham United are mulling over a January move for Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato, The Mail reports.
The 26-year-old is currently playing his trade on loan at Sao Paolo, where he has notched an impressive tally of 37 goals in 94 outings.
Pato had been linked with a deadline day move to Manchester United, but Sao Paolo's officials were unwilling to offload their star man at such a late stage of the summer transfer window.
However, The Mail claims that the Hammers could make a formal approach for the Brazil international, who is thought to be keen on a switch to England.
Corinthians' deputy director of football Eduardo Ferreira recently confirmed that the club would listen to offers in excess of £18.6m for the former Milan star.
