Spurs want Robert Green

Spurs want Robert Green

12 January 2008 - 10:17

Tottenham are chasing the signature of England international goalkeeper Robert Green from London rivals West Ham. Paul Robinson has reportedly fallen out of favour at Spurs.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • West Ham are keen to hang on to their number 1, who could command a fee of over £7 million. The ex-Norwich goalkeeper has been in impeccable form this season, most notably keeping out a few key penalties in the Premiership.

Many believe that Ramos has told Tottenham keeper Paul Robinson he is free to leave the club, and Everton could be set to make an offer for the England keeper who has made several mistakes this season for Tottenham.

If any deal is pushed through, it is believed West Ham will reluctantly sell their keeper unless Tottenham make a very large bid for the keeper.
