The Serbian international is in the final six months of his contract at Stamford Bridge, and talks over an extension have stalled.

According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri will look to bring fresh faces to their backline in the New Year, with Cristian Zapata and Philippe Mexes nearing the exit door.

The report adds that the San Siro side are seemingly confident of luring Ivanovic on a cut-price deal next month.

Ivanovic has made over 300 appearances for the Blues since his move from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2007.
