The 24-year-old joined the Ukrainian giants from FC Basel in 2013, and has since then made over 50 appearances for the club.

According to The Mail, the Foxes are lining up a potential deal for the Austrian international as they prepare to offload Yohan Benalouane in the New Year.

The report adds that Kiev may be tempted to discuss a deal, should the Foxes lodge an offer of around &pound16m for their star asset.

Manager Claudio Ranieri will be offered a substantial transfer kitty in January in the bid to attain a top-four finish to the Premier League season.
