Juventus are reportedly interested in wrapping up a January deal for Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.

The Old Lady are expected to sign up a new midfielder this winter as they seek to retain the Serie title in the second half of the campaign.

Italian publication Tuttosport understands that the Turin giants could pursue options elsewhere after they failed to convince Borussia Dortmund into the sale of long-term target IIkay Gundogan.

It is added that Herrera is one among the top players in the club's shortlist for the ongoing transfer window.

Juventus are currently fourth in their league standings, just three points adrift of leaders Inter Milan.
