Branislav Ivanovic has ended speculation over his future by agreeing terms on a new one-year contract with Chelsea.
Reports had earlier suggested that the Serbian international could head out of Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of the season.
However, The Times understands that the Blues vice-captain will ink a one-year contract next month following a decent run of games.
It is added that the Blues will have the option of extending the deal by a further year, should the player maintain his performance levels.
Ivanovic has made over 300 appearances for his side till date.
