Netherlands international Jeremain Lens has insisted that he will not leave Sunderland during the ongoing transfer window.
The 28-year-old had been linked with a possible move away from Wearside last month following his lack of playing time.
However, the talented attacker has dismissed the claims by citing that the news was made up by the media.
"I never spoke about leaving. It's the media and all the things around me," he told the Sunderland Echo.
"We will see what happens. I'm a Sunderland player and I'm focused on Sunderland."
Lens joined the Black Cats from Dynamo Kiev last summer.
