The Brazilian playmaker has been in fine form for the Ukrainian giants this season, and this has caught the eye of several European clubs.

The Reds were said to have failed with an initial &pound25m bid last week, and according to The Mail, a second offer of around &pound28m has been turned down.

It is added that the 25-year-old is desperate for a move to the Premier League, and the Reds are most likely to come up with a final bid in the coming days.

Teixeira scored 26 goals during the first half of the campaign.
