Watford have completed the signing of Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez for a reported fee of around &pound4m.

The Spain international struggled to adapt to life in Florence following his summer move from Atletico Madrid.

Recent reports had suggested that the midfield enforcer could find himself in the Premier League with manager Quique Flores keen on a reunion.

It is now confirmed that the 28-year-old has linked up with the Hornets on a four-and-a-half year deal.

Suarez could make his debut against Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
