Russian international Denis Cheryshev has revealed his desire to remain at Valencia beyond the end of the season.
The Real Madrid forward linked up with the Mestalla outfit on loan during the winter transfer window, and has since then scored twice in five league games for the club.
The 25-year-old has now stated his desire to stay put at Los Che beyond the current campaign.
"I'm really happy here. Everybody has made me feel very welcome. But what happens at the end of the season doesn't depend a hundred percent on me, more on [Real] Madrid. I prefer just to enjoy this now," he told Spanish outlet AS.
"I've been here a short time and I have a lot of things to improve. I'd be delighted if Valencia wanted me to stay."
Cheryshev had been linked with a move to Liverpool before his temporary switch to Valencia.
